Performance
DeskJet Plus 4120 is very interesting. The official spec sheet promises 8.5 pages per minute when printing plain text, and in my experiments, it actually did a little better.

Photos printed on plain A4 take an average of 53 seconds, while printing on glossy photo paper takes 10 x 15 cm longer, about 1 minute and 10 seconds.
The quality of the text was acceptable, but not quite good in normal quality. Serifs occasionally appeared indistinct, and occasionally bleeding in letters such as “k”, “x” and “w”. Quality is only acceptable at Best, which of course uses more ink, which means you have to wait a little longer for the pages to appear.

Fortunately, the graphics and photos are both great, with large colored blocks appearing in the bar charts, logos and charts. The skin color on the photos, even on plain paper, looks similar to the skin color, and the photos printed on the glosses look amazing.
The only problem I had with glossy prints was that the alignment of the images in the center of the 10 x 15 cm paper did not always work when selecting “screen fit” in mobile applications. You can compensate for this manually, but a little trial and error is needed.
Current costs

Larger HP 305XL cartridges cost 99 19.99 and 99 17.99. Although this amount is a bit higher, HP has promised enough ink for approximately 240 prints (black) and 200 (color) prints. All this creates less cost per 8p and 9p per page.
Conclusion
