HP Stream 14 laptop

The HP Stream 14 is a Windows 10 laptop with a 14.00-inch screen that has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. This device uses a Celeron Dual Core processor and 4 GB of RAM. HP Stream 14 has 32 GB of HDD memory.

Graphics supports Intel HD Graphics 400. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac with 2 USB ports (2 x USB 2.0), HDMI port, multi-card slot, headphones, and Mic Combo Jack port.

If you’ve been looking at Walmart or Target electronics, HP Stream 14 has probably caught your eye, both because of its colorful candy design and its very affordable price. HP has been producing low-cost Stream laptops for several years, introducing low-cost laptops as a Windows-based competitor to Chromebooks. The Stream 14 is larger than the HP Stream versions of previous years (its largest model was 13 inches), but nothing else has changed.

Like the Chromebook, the Stream 14 keeps the price down with basic principles: low-power CPU, minimal RAM, and 32GB of flash memory for storage. Unfortunately, this may not be enough to support a Windows experience that even supports an affordable laptop.

What are the best features of HP STREAM 14?

While you get a well-designed laptop with HP Stream 14 and a good number of ports and connections, the low price is definitely the biggest advantage – if you have a bigger budget, then you can get something a little more ambitious and powerful.

If you want to save as much money as possible, add HP Stream 14 to your shortlist.

The HP Stream 14 comes with Windows 10 in S mode, which means you can only install apps from the official Microsoft Store.

This creates a less versatile but more secure computing experience, which may be exactly what you are looking for.

You can unlock S Mode for free and use the standard Windows 10 software instead, but this is a one-time process that you cannot reverse.

Less powerful specs and lower screen resolution mean a key advantage for users, and that is the extra battery life – the maximum battery life listed by HP is just over 14 hours, so this is the laptop that is going to run. Be.

You do not need to worry about running out of juice during the day and if you are careful it may even reach two.

The Stream 14 has a lightweight plastic chassis that measures 13.3 by 8.9 by 0.70 inches and weighs only 3.11 pounds. The plastic structure looks hollow and bends slightly with each keystroke and strikes the crack screen.

The palm has a textured pattern and creates two colors thanks to the white keyboard. It is similar in size and weight to other 14-inch systems in this price range, such as the Lenovo Ideapad 100S-14, which measures 13.3 by 9.3 by 0.7 inches and weighs 3.2 pounds.

Keyboard and touch screen

The HP Stream 14 keyboard has white tile keys that are 1.32 mm wide and require 72 grams of pressure to record a keystroke. Despite the heavy pressure required for each keystroke, the keys themselves are light and loose.

The touch screen measures 3.7 by 2.5 inches and is light blue in color like the surrounding chassis. The matte plastic finish may not be luxurious, but it records every click and movement without any problems. The HP Imagepad uses clickable areas in the lower corners instead of discrete mouse buttons and supports multi-touch gestures.

The port selection on Stream 14 is a bit narrow, but enough for initial use. On the left side of the chassis, you’ll find a full-size HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and an SD card slot.

You’ll also find a Kensington lock slot and audio headset jack. On the right side of the laptop is a power connector. Stream 14 does not have an Ethernet port, so you will be dependent on Wi-Fi.

In terms of performance, HP Stream 14 offers good performance in terms of price. Stream 14 in terms of components has Intel HD graphics, Intel Celeron n3060 processor, and a combination of emmc flash and cloud storage.

Although not as powerful as an Intel Core processor, the operating system works easily on Wi-Fi. However, if you are looking for something more powerful, the Acer Aspire E15 is the best choice.

Stream 14 has a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 76 768, which is not uncommon in this price range.

The HP laptop can produce 81.5% of the sRGB color gamut, which is roughly the same as the Dell Inspiron 14 3000 (81%) and Lenovo Ideapad 100S-14 (84%).

The screen color accuracy is not perfect, with a Delta-E grade of 3.86 as measured by our colorimeter (0 is ideal).

The screen is also very dim and averages 186 nits of brightness. This is better than the Inspiron 14 3000 (135 nits) and similar to the IdeaPad 100S-14 (188 nits).

The HP Stream 14 comes with an Intel Celeron N4000 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage – almost as much as you can get away with running Windows these days (your smartphone may have better specs). You have to be good as long as you follow the basics.

The 14-inch screen size is very suitable for a laptop at this price level and has a very acceptable resolution of 1366 x 766 pixels. It does not have the most space for web pages, spreadsheets, and other things you want to display on the screen, but it will be enough for most people.
