Dell Inspiron N5010 Core i5 review
The Dell Inspiron N5010 with a 15.6-inch Intel Core i5 widescreen comes pre-loaded with the latest Windows 7 operating system. The Dell Inspiron N5010 has an on-screen camera.
The keyboard design also has a thin metal feel. In general, the design of the C face is simple, with only three status lights and a key on the keyboard to support it.
The design of the N5010 is available in black, red, and pink with an attractive black-and-white cover, which has a special style that can add to your positive personality. Interior signs, many glossy black surfaces, and beautiful curves, which can really show their preference for design.
CPU, RAM and main performance are difficult DiskThe is a candidate for the powerful i5-430M dual-core processor, which can deliver highly reliable performance at any time.
The I5 technology is built by Intel to have much higher speeds and higher power consumption, while the processor draws water from the battery. 3 GB of memory and a large SATA 320 GB HDD are also provided to sweeten the deal.
Multimedia When the N5010 is fun, it does not lack multimedia features, as it has a beautiful 6.15. Intel HD proprietary HD screen and GPU provide beautiful images.
You can run all your 3D games and graphics without worrying about running system resources.
Specifications and performance
The Inspiron N5010 has a dual-core Hyper-Threading Intel Core i5-430M processor clocked at 2.26 GHz, but its most notable features are 6GB of DDR3 SDRAM and 640GB of Western Digital Scorpio Blue.
This is more RAM and hard disk space than what we see in a mid-range notebook, and it provides great Inspiron 15R N5010 multitasking capabilities as well as plenty of room for image manipulation and other memory tasks.
This version runs Windows 64 Home Premium 64-bit, so all memory is available.
The Inspiron N5010 has two memory slots. This model comes with a 4 GB module and a 2 GB module.
Performance tests showed that the Inspiron 15R N5010 is suitable for office and multimedia tasks. At 2.27 GHz, it has the lowest Core i5 processors available (except for low-voltage models), but the difference between 2.26 GHz, 2.4 GHz, and 2.53 GHz in real work is negligible.
You do not really have to spend a lot of time doing day-to-day coding, and even more tax work like rip DVDs is done at the right time.
The graphics performance of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 adapter is only in the middle of the road. Has a score of 4572 on 3DMark06. That’s a low score for a $ 1,500 15-inch laptop – even the Samsung R580 scored 7412 faster with the GeForce GT 330M graphics adapter.
However, its graphical performance is more than enough for HD video processing, and it can even play some older games.
This hard drive has a fast transfer rate of 29 MB per second, partly due to high density. This figure decreases slightly when it is significantly filled with files.
The Inspiron N5010 has a spacious keyboard with sturdy, yet lightweight buttons. Typing on it is not tedious for long, but the keys hit hollow when you hit them.
There is a pad on the right side of the keyboard, and although it is slightly crushed, it will come in handy if you use the calculator regularly.
The function keys are reversed (like the ones we saw on the HP Mini 5101 notebook), allowing you to change the brightness, volume, and more without having to press the Fn key. If you have a habit of hitting F5 to refresh your web browser, you should also keep Fn down.
The touch screen is large, the keyboard feels good for typing, and the unit design is nice and clean.
The large touch screen allows you to perform various movements with two fingers: supports scrolling, pressing and rotating with two fingers.
You can also adjust it to use a one-finger circular scroll (ChiralMotion scroll).
The left and right click buttons are soft and do not make a sound when pressed.
There are no extra buttons on the top of the keyboard. You will only find the on / off button. The palm rest has a sleek design and looks good.
Although it is very soft and can be used in hot weather, it is sticky and uncomfortable.
Dispersion in design is also evident when looking at the four sides of the base. Instead of being completely clogged at the sides, the portals and grooves are completely spaced around the base, including the spine.
The front has nothing but two speakers that are reasonably loud and play great sound for movies and music.
To the right is a built-in DVD burner, an eSATA port, a 10/100 Ethernet port, and an SD card slot. On the left, there is a USB port, a microphone and headphone port, and an HDMI port. The back has two other USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, and a power connector.
Its screen is 15.6 inches and the resolution is 1366×768. It sits about two inches from the spine, which makes the notebook well-balanced and looks slightly different from normal.
It has a red lid and a black border, and these colors easily match the silver palm.
A webcam at the top of the screen is directly in the center and comes with a built-in microphone. The margins and screens, though very glossy, can be distracting when reflected.
In dark environments, when you see the white background screen with the screen tilted back 90 degrees, you see the screen glow. There was no noticeable vibration when the screen was tilted forward.
The Inspiron N5010 has a 48-watt-hour battery on its backbone and lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes.
